Live Forms v3.4 adds full support for Internet Explorer 8.
v3.4 also contains many new features and enhancements for both Online and In-house users. Also new features and improvements for OEM/Embedding of Live Forms
- Enhanced / customizable Print-View looks for both HTML and PDF now looks like use mode forms (v3.4.2)
- Logout added to Save/Load feature supports traveling salesmen (v3.4.2)
- Customize form style base on current selected locale via Themes (v3.4.2)
- IE8 Support - Create forms and use forms in Internet Explorer 8

Live Forms v3.2 makes available the GA release of Live Forms for Confluence. v3.2 also contains features and enhancements which extend the functionality for OEM embedding.

frevvo Live Forms™ v3.1
V3.1 GA Release November 9, 2008
Live Forms v3.1 improves ease of use for both OEM and VAR Resellers as well as adding many new product features such as support for Firefox 3 and easier website embedding. Here are some of the new features:
- Support for Firefox 3
- Additional functionality added to the frevvo API for improved programmatic access to Live Forms for OEM customer.
- VAR Resellers can now easily brand frevvo (logo, product name, home url, copyright, license url, contact us, etc)
- Improved licensing enables easier controls for OEM and VAR Resellers
- Improved ease of use when updating forms with XML schema repeats.
- Forms can be rendered read-only and can be custom styled
- New Share code enables much simpler embedding of frevvo forms in your website pages

V3.0 GA Release July 20, 2008
- The frevvo API adds programmatic access to Live Forms for OEM customer

- New Upload Control. Users can attach and submit files with the form
- Custom Controls can now be made read-only and include business rules

Product Overview
frevvo Live Forms™ Designer enables customers to easily create rich, dynamic, Web 2.0 forms using just a browser. These forms satisfy the demands of real business applications and leverage Ajax technology to provide a rich user experience that is far beyond typical forms-based applications. Nothing needs to be installed on your computer - the designer runs completely in your existing web browser.
frevvo Live Forms™ Server brings a new level of capabilities to browser-based forms by enabling sophisticated business rules, collaborative use by multiple users and by easily connecting with existing server applications, databases and web services. Forms can be embedded in your existing web site and can be easily deployed to customers. This saves time and money and you end up with better forms with more capabilities than most hand-built forms.
Using frevvo, you can:
- Quickly create forms by dragging and dropping controls or generate from an XML schema using your web browser.
- Use a wide array of pre-packaged controls to collect information.
- Easily handle repeating items - multiple addresses or accounts.
- Group and arrange your controls in a variety of ways - collapsible sections, tabbed views, multi-column layouts.
- Easily customize the appearance of your forms via themes.
- Specify rules that change the behavior of controls - conditional sections that display when required, or computed values such as invoice totals. Rules are automatically and immediately applied using Ajax.
- Define patterns that data must satisfy. frevvo automatically and instantaneously validates controls using Ajax. Users get immediate feedback and invalid forms cannot be submitted.
- Create multi-page forms to collect large volumes of data.
- There’s nothing to install. frevvo Live Forms Designer is 100% browser-based so you can easily create rich, Web 2.0 forms. Your forms can be used in any modern web browser.
- Work with your data. frevvo forms automatically generate XML documents that conform to a schema. If you created your form via the palette, frevvo will even generate an XML schema that the document conforms to.
- Share your forms. Mark your forms public and share them with anyone. Complete partially filled forms over multiple sessions or email them to other users to complete.
